DDI Hosting Free Webinar August 17th on Emergency Planning for Persons with Disabilities, their Caregivers, and Family Members (August, 2015)
DDI will be hosting another free webinar on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Elizabeth Janks, LMSW will lead this informative and important presentation. Ms. Janks is the Associate Director for Training and Community Support at DDI and is Director of the Emergency Preparedness Project.
The webinar will cover the definition of an emergency or disaster, will walk participants through completing an emergency plan, present a DVD that gives you information about surviving an emergency situation, and will address your needs in an evacuation.
