An event to raise awareness and generate donations to assist JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation to continue its mission to provide support, education and a comprehensive array of services to help families cope with the everyday challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
WHEN:  Sunday, April 24th, 2016 – 8am to 12noon
WHERE:  River Bends Park – Hickory Grove Pavilion – Shelby Township, MI
WHAT:  A competitive and timed 5K Run / Walk and a 1 Mile Costume Walk

Family Fun Area will be open from 8am to 12noon with Face Painting, Music, Chair Massages, Photos with PAWS and Augie, Raffle and more…………

Jack's Place

jacks-logo1Jack’s Place began as an idea by Jimmie and Lisa Price. Jimmie, current broadcaster and former player for the Detroit Tigers and his wife Lisa learned about Autism after several visits to several doctors who were unable to make an accurate diagnosis. After finally receiving an accurate assessment of their son they began a difficult journey to find resources that would allow them to be best prepared for the years ahead.
